Lana is an enthusiastic and engaging speaker. Her speaking career commenced in 1985 as a speaker for ladies retreats. She is a speaker who teaches and a teacher who inspires. The highlight of her speaking career was delivering a bLU Talk at Harvard University in 2024. She speaks at writers conferences and workshops, both as stand-alone sessions and full-day events where she speaks up to 5 times in one day.

She founded The Fiction Writers Podcast in 2023. Her life is never more “on purpose” than when she shares inspiration for why we write (both fiction and nonfiction) and tips, tricks and ideas for fiction that matters. She is also a master book marketer with a full bag of tricks she is eager to share. Her greatest joy is seeing the spark in someone’s eyes as the light goes on inside them.

She is always excited to join your book club event in person or virtually to discuss her books.
