One of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my writing career was to sign up for Rosey Dow’s wonderful fiction writing course (you might know her as Lana McAra). When I first signed up for the course, I only had a draft of a novel I’d written about 20 years earlier and gave up on, and I had nothing published other than magazine articles.

Today, I have 7 published novels (including the one I gave up on) and am working on the 8th, all published by traditional, royalty-paying publishers. I also shared these great writing principles after I became president of the South Carolina Chapter of American Christian Fiction Writers. I highly recommend Lana’s writing course and am so pleased she is going to offer it again.

A book contract was in the works within a couple of weeks after submission to the publisher. Lana played a big part in that remarkable accomplishment.
